Aiguille Dibona

Welcome to the Soreiller refuge.
Following the events in the Vénéon Valley,
The road is closed to private vehicles all summer in Saint-Christophe Oisans, and shuttles provide access to Les Etages (departure for Soreiller) and the entrance to La Bérarde (Combe Noire).

It is mandatory to RESERVE your shuttle.

  

PLEASE NOTE: Shuttles arriving at 5 p.m. on  

 

the upper floors DO NOT allow arrivals for

 

lunch at 7 p.m.!

The refuge will be open and staffed on the weekends of June 21, 22, 28, and 29, 2025; then continuously starting July 5, 2025.

For information on traffic restrictions, please contact the Isère Departmental Office in Bourg d’Oisans at +33 4 76 80 03 48.

It remains prohibited to enter the hamlet of La Bérarde on foot. Hiking trails are accessible and bypass the hamlet.

THE REFUGE

The Soreiller refuge, built in 1957, is located at 2719m at the foot of the emblematic Aiguille de la Dibona.

It belongs to the STD, the company of Tourists of Dauphine, and was renovated in 1999 and 2014.

ACCESS

By Walk

– From the hamlet of Les Etages, count 3h of climb for 1150m of unevenness.
– The trail is outside the Ecrins National Park, dogs on a leash are therefore allowed on the trail with vigilance because of the presence of flocks of sheep.

Attention, inquire at the refuge for the conditions of these trails (presence of firn that may need the use of crampons).

By Bus

– The lines 3000 & 3030 circulate between Grenoble and Bourg d’Oisans.
– From Bourg d’Oisans, the correspondence to the Bérarde is by the line 3040.

Climbing

Welcome to the paradise of climbing!
Of course there is the famous Dibona, but the cirque of Soreiller is also beautiful less known climbs ….

A fabulous granite, sun, equipped tracks, tracks in adventure field, increasing difficulties …

Refuges to connect with rocky courses: from Selle to Soreiller by the tip of Amont, from Châtelleret to Soreiller by the peak Gény.

Dibona needle, Central needle of the Soreiller, Western needle of the Soreiller, Oriental needle of the Soreiller, Burlan’s spikes, Head of the Red mullet, Geny’s spike, Needle of the Plate of the Saddle, Head of the Marsarre.

Hiking

The trail is outside the Ecrins National Park, dogs on a leash are therefore allowed on the trail wi

th vigilance because of the presence of herds of sheep.
Possibility to make a loop by the Vallon trail from below and the classic Vallon trail or a round trip.

The path of the waterfall from below is a little less marked and steeper than the classic.

It is to discover the fauna and flora, to marvel at the exit of the gorge with the view of the Aiguille de la Dibona and Soreiller cirque, it is observing the climbers from the terrace.

Be careful, inquire at the refuge for the conditions of these trails (presence of snow that may require the use of crampons).
